The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer who will contribute to designing, implementing, and managing a hybrid infrastructure. Also, in collaboration with other team members, one will develop automation strategies and deployment processes, becoming an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform their own and solving them accordingly.
Role Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain our infrastructure through automation with configuration management and infrastructure as code tooling (Ansible, Terraform)
- Work with our software engineers to design, deploy and manage our applications, running in AWS and GCP, as well as in on-premises servers
- Troubleshoot production issues and assist in remediation fixes to ensure business continuity with minimum downtime
- Continuously Investigate and suggest improvements to improve performance and scalability
- Collaborate with peers and architects to ensure compliance with company standards related to security
- Design, implement and manage scalable logging and monitoring systems
What you will bring:
- A university degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of work experience with UNIX/Linux systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and scripting.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience with cloud deployments (GCP and/or AWS) and infrastructure as code tools
- Good experience in:
– Automation techniques, especially Ansible and Terraform
– Configuration management, CI/CD, and other DevOps tools
– Containerization, such as Docker and Kubernetes
– Logging and monitoring systems (Grafana, Influxdb, Telegraf, ELK stack)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Be a flexible team player, stepping into a variety of roles
- Be curious about new technology stacks; stepping out of your comfort zone
Would be great if you also bring one or more of the following:
- GCP or AWS certifications
- Experience with password management software.
