About the job

We are looking for a talented and self-driven DevOps engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working on managing blockchain and off-chain related infrastructure, and deployment pipelines with an omnipresent goal of continuous improvement and automation of existing processes, procedures and environments.

Alongside typical “web2” DevOps skillset, maintaining the core infrastructure of a blockchain (”web3”) will require that you understand underlying blockchain protocols and node interactions to be able to fully contribute to network performance and security. That said, there is a lot of room for innovation which allows for a rewarding work experience.

You will be part of a pivotal moment in blockchain history by participating in creating a decentralized network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage chain and off-chain infrastructure and deployment pipelines
  • Continuously work on improving and automating existing processes and procedures
  • Monitor distributed Unit Network performance on the infrastructure level (e.g. Linux) as well as protocol level (e.g. L1 and L2 network management, on-chain transactions) by implementing and managing the right tools to allow troubleshooting and timely reaction when needed.

Qualification and Skills

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in DEVOPS domain including (but not limited to) Linux in general, GitHub CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes/Containers, designing highly available services.
  • Experience with deploying on AWS/Azure,
  • Monitoring / Alerting stack: Prometheus/Grafana, Loki, ELK
  • DB maintenance
  • An interest in decentralized technology and Web3.
  • Understanding of open-source culture.
  • Understanding of cross-cultural communication in a highly diverse and distributed working environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously, be proactive, prioritize, communicate, and function in a small team.
  • Hands-on DevOps or DEV experience in blockchain space (Polkadot, Ethereum, L2 Rollup or other blockchain technologies)
  • Smart Contracts understanding
