Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
  • Develop and implement infrastructure as code (IaaC) using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK to automate provisioning and configuration management.
  • Architect highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating deployment, testing, and monitoring of applications and services on AWS.
  • Configure and manage AWS security features, including IAM roles and policies, VPC security groups, and encryption mechanisms.
  • Monitor the health, performance, and cost of AWS infrastructure using cloud monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Cost Explorer.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure, deployments, and performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture for AWS cloud environments.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a focus on AWS.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services and best practices, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS, and others.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and routing.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards on AWS.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
