The Cloud Security Architect is responsible for the design and architecture of Precisely’s cloud security posture. Responsibilities include setting security standards within our cloud environments, providing oversight to security measures, recommending enhancements, identifying gaps, and supporting security vulnerabilities and incidents. The successful candidate is experienced in cloud security and risk assessment, with a strong understanding of cloud security protocols/controls, authentication/authorization, network security, and data protection, with the ability to recommend and implement industry best practices. The Cloud Security Architect will combine hardware and software knowledge with programming proficiency, research skills, and policy development. The Cloud Security Architect possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a wide variety of co-located teams within a matrix environment.

Responsibilities And Duties
- Work within the organization to establish the future vision of Precisely’s cloud security program, and work with the cloud security team to deliver on that vision
- Develop and implement a target strategy and architecture for cloud security and establish and maintain a cloud security roadmap
- Determine security requirements by evaluating business and product strategies, researching cloud security standards and new technologies, conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and performing risk assessments
- Develop and implement cloud security solutions and provide governance for cloud environments
- Contribute to a security architecture process that enables the enterprise to develop and implement secure solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with business, technology, and product goals
- When necessary, work with cross-functional teams and the SOC on vulnerabilities, remediation techniques, and incident response
- Be active in the security industry and stay up to date on technologies and emerging threats to bring best practices to the organization
Requirements And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience with AWS and Azure security architecture and cloud operations
- 8+ years architecting, designing, and engineering cloud security solutions
- Familiarity with Cloud Native/DevOps practices
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams in a remote work environment.
- One or more technical security certifications are required, including AWS security certifications
- NIST and FedRAMP experience preferred
